Ramblings

This is about the 4th time I have tried to blog. So far not good. Several people I admire have blogs I read. The best was Amanda Brooks Many Adventure of motherhood. I love Julia McReady's blog. Several very spiritual people, Adam, Jesse, Bobbie have blogs I read And a little bit of Wo is a secret pleasure.
I am, however, all over the place. I am going to try to put down some of my constant inner dialog that is sometimes so loud I don't hear the the real world around me.

Today's happy thought is that Scarlett recognizes the ringtone her mom has set on her phone for me. When I call she wants the phone on speaker so she can talk to me albeit a mile a minute and 50% unintelligible. Some day we'll master skyping between the two of us.

Today's sad thought is that I miss being snowed in with my kids. This first snow day of the year it was just me and the dogs. Mars and I are stocking up on firewood, casseroles and potables in case we get another snow day. Actually with the weather this cold I might as well be snowed in because I certainly don't go out unless I have to. So we are all prepared to cocoon and watch football tonight. The dogs can't wait. They love cocooning.
